Animal Friends
“Spending my childhood living
in a flat, it was not possible to have animals….well,
we did have budgies, hamsters, kittens (only for short
periods). It was
only when I married that I owned my first dog – or should I
say the dog owned me!!
Dobermann Mystie, won many rosettes for obedience.
She had pups and we kept Grendel the warrior!!! who
became a good show dog.
Not being blessed with children, my love went on my dogs and
cats and over the years there have been many. They
have always come into my life when I needed them for company
and love.
When Mystie was a year old, we found a kitten ‘dumped’ in
the woods whilst out walking. We took him home and for
a few nights we could hear a loud high-pitched meowing
outside in the garden. To cut a long story short…..it
was the kitten’s mum and she had traced him to us!! We
adopted the mum also. She had another two litters.
That was the start of having cats in our family for many
years.
I had Rottweillers Armageddon (Arnie) and Cassie when I
moved to
With Raye’s love of domestic and wild animals, it
seemed a natural progression to communicate with people’s
beloved pets in the spirit world. Also, to give
healing to them.
